When Kendall Jenner stepped onto the red carpet at the 75th Golden Globes in a flamboyant black gown, people were perplexed. Rubbing shoulders with the Hollywood elite, all of whom had worked incredibly hard to have been invited to the exclusive event, nobody could quite understand how the reality star-turned-supermodel fitted into the occasion.

A barrage of cruel comments began to appear online in which people questioned if the 22-year-old was there to collect a prize for her ill-fated and highly controversial Pepsi commercial, which was arguably one of the most talked about productions of the year.

But while the comments regarding why Jenner, the highest paid model in the world, was at the event may have been justified – it transpired she was invited by Vogue magazine – the malicious messages about her acne were not.

Despite her daring black dress which revealed her long legs, the model couldn’t draw attention away from her skin, which was exhibiting several rogue lumps and bumps.
