It already made headlines when news broke that Meghan Markle would be spending Christmas at the Queen’s Sandringham Estate with the Royal Family. Normally only official family members are invited and not even Kate attended until after she married William.

So it begs the question, just what did the soon-to-be Royal bring as a Christmas gift for the Queen? Surely she already has everything she could want, so what does one buy the person who has everything?

Well, Christmas with the Royal Family is a little different than how most people celebrate. The Queen likes to honor her German heritage and incorporates many German traditions into the festivities. One of which is opening presents on Christmas Eve.

On Christmas Eve, after the youngest members of the family put the finishing touches on the Christmas tree, presents will be opened during tea time. All the gifts are laid out in the Red Drawing Room on a trestle table.

But without a doubt, Meghan Markle was incredibly nervous this Christmas, as it was the first time she had spent such a long period of time with the soon-to-be in-laws. This video was captured on Christmas Day, as cameras captured the nervous actress attending church with the Royals:

In fact, if you look closely (2:30 mark) you can even see the moment Kate Middleton showed the inexperienced Markle how to curtsy to Her Majesty.
