The ‘Human Ken Doll’ Rodrigo Alves has consistently hit the headlines thanks to his plastic surgery addiction. At this point, it appears that there is no procedure he is not willing to have in his bizarre quest to turn himself into Barbie’s plastic fantastic companion Ken.

Beginning his journey into the world of plastic surgery at the tender age of 18 with a rhinoplasty, the 34-year-old has now spent $400,000 and counting on his appearance. What’s more is that he eventually plans to have a sex change to become Barbie herself.

Alves, however, is not transgender. Like everything else in his life, his decision to have a sex change is motivated by pure unadulterated vanity. He wants to become Barbie so that he can live his life as a “sexy old lady” like Caitlyn Jenner rather than a “saggy old man”.

The Human Ken Doll’s most recent plan for altering his body involved the removal of six ribs, marking his 60th cosmetic procedure. But doctors refused to remove that many ribs out of fear that it would cause his lungs to collapse so he is having four removed instead.

Alves is due to have the rib removal procedure next month, starting off his 2018 with a $37,420 plastic surgery bill. He is having his ribs removed in an attempt to achieve an “elegant and classic figure”.

“I was frustrated because I really want to be able to fit back into my four breast blazers as before but removing two extra ribs could compromise my lungs, and my doctors must be very careful that my health is not compromised,” he revealed in an interview with the Daily Mail.
