Photographer Shares Stunning Photos Of Women At The Point Of Orgasm To Talk About Female Sexuality

Female sexual liberation is being discussed and promoted in a way that it has never been before. Societal expectations in days gone by portrayed women as homemakers who existed only to please men. Now, women are being encouraged to embrace their sexuality.

A study published in the Journal of Sexual Medicine revealed that women only orgasm 62.9% of the time during sex, whereas men orgasm 85.1% of the time. However, action is being taken to change this balance and enable women to enjoy sex as much as men do.

One of female sexual liberation’s biggest proponents is American model and actress Amber Rose.

Rose is using her fame to encourage women to be exactly who they are and not feel the need to conform to gender expectations – something she encouraged when she shared a picture of herself showcasing her pubic hair, which many women feel pressured into shaving off.

She is pictured below at her “Slut Walk”. It was promoted by her “Walk Of No Shame” video – an empowering take on the phrase “Walk Of Shame”, which is used to describe women leaving a one-night stand’s house the next day early in the morning and getting judged for it.

Another person who shares Rose’s views on female sexual liberation is photographer Albert Pocej.

To help promote female sexual liberation, he portrayed it in a remarkable way by creating a photography project centered around women who are at the point of orgasm. It features 15 brave women who volunteered to take part in the project, and the results are stunning.

People often joke about what a person’s “sex face” looks like, but Pocej’s photographs show that there is beauty in an orgasm, turning an often joked about topic into a serious project which aims to capture women experiencing “the highest point of physical pleasure.”
