15 Dec After Their Daughter Behaved Differently, Her Parents Were Left Appalled After Checking Nanny Cam

This is the story of how Whitney Matney a 28-year-old mother from Springdale, Arkansas, discovered something unthinkably distressing was happening to her daughter.

Considering Matney was a law student AND a mother to a one-year-old daughter Raylee, she decided to hire a nanny to take care of her little one when she was busy with her studies.

Ultimately, Matney hired someone she really thought she could trust – a woman called Melissa Medema who happened to be one of her former high school classmates.

“She would talk to Raylee, play with her. Raylee seemed to really take to her. So I ended up hiring her,” Matney explained to ABC News. “You see these horror stories on TV, and it’s like a surreal feeling when it happens to you,”

However, it wasn’t long before Matney and her husband Chris began noticing an unmistakable change in their daughter’s behavior.

Whenever Medema turned up at the house ready to take care of the toddler, Raylee would begin acting entirely out of character by hiding behind her parents in sheer terror.

“The day Melissa started working there when I cross the threshold into her bedroom she just started screaming. And I just thought, you know, she’s tired, she’s getting sick,” Matney said.

When Raylee’s alarming behavior continued, Matney started becoming suspicious of Medema and so she set up a hidden camera in the living room in order to capture whatever it was that was distressing her little girl.

Unfortunately, the scenes that were captured proved that Matney was right to be suspicious of the nanny as she was caught on camera violently shaking her in a clear fit of rage…
