Over the years, as someone with a tinge of ginge, I have been the victim of many premeditated verbal attacks from ignorant kids in the playground who clearly felt threatened by the fiery tone of my hair. But now I’m an adult, those lost in the ocean of blonde and brunette have more to fear, for redheads are gliding over the waves in their vibrant boats ready to take over the world.

No, that is not the premise of the latest superhero movie (although it should be), it is reality. Redheads really are the superior specimens, and science is going to prove it.

You may believe, after years of propaganda and viral YouTube videos, that gingers have no soul. But according to a study by Hamburg sex professor Dr. Werner Habermehl, it’s quite the opposite.

Dr. Habermehl studied the sex lives of hundreds of German women to determine whether a person’s hair color made them particularly rampant.

“The sex lives of women with red hair were clearly more active than those with other hair colors, with more partners and having sex more often than the average,” he concluded, according to The Daily Mail. “The research shows that the fiery redhead certainly lives up to her reputation.”

With those findings, there is no doubt that you now secretly wish you could join the carrot-top crew. But, can you be eligible if your luscious locks are dyed?
