When you’re pregnant and have a human being growing inside you, complications can arise very easily. There is a great deal of pressure and responsibility that comes with pregnancy.

As a soon-to-be-mother, you are constantly aware that you’re carrying a delicate and fragile little life inside your own body.

And particularly if the unborn baby is your very first child, you strive to do everything you can to ensure that he or she is healthy and safe.

Sometimes pregnancies go relatively smoothly, in spite of the horror stories that are often spouted about morning sickness and severe mood swings.

And even better than that, sometimes the birth goes much better than you ever anticipated. And then you can rejoice in the fact that you now have a healthy child to care for and love.

But unfortunately, this can lull you into a false sense of security if all your luck suddenly changes directly after the birth of your little one.

This is exactly what happened to Isabel Pantoja and her partner, Mario Gonzalez who live in Tecoman in the western state of Colima, Mexico.

They are parents of a 10-month-old baby boy who weighs a whopping 66lbs! This is about the same weight of an average nine-year-old child.

Their baby is called Luis Manuel and to say that he has grown rapidly since his birth would be an understatement.

In fact, his waistline had expanded so dramatically that when he was only a month old, he had to be dressed in clothing fit for a two-year-old.
