This is what happened when one woman found a greyhound who had very clearly been suffering for a long time. She’d hoped there was something she could do for the poor dog, but that didn’t seem likely, and so she called a friend for back up. But not content with just being rescued, the two women then let the dog lead them on a quest, two miles out of town…

1. The Limping Stray Dog

In January 2017, a dog who was very evidently a stray, was seen wandering around the local market in Vera, a town in Spain. She looked ill and had clearly been starving for weeks. She was also limping quite badly. What had happened? Her rescuers didn’t want to jump to conclusions, but they immediately wondered if someone had hurt her.
