06 Oct Australian Woman Spent $17,000 On “Beyoncé Booty” To Boost Her Confidence And Self-Esteem
We’re all human, and that means it’s extremely normal to be unhappy with at least one part of your body. I’m the first to admit that if I could trade in my Hobbit feet for a pair that are more ladylike, I would do it. However, I certainly wouldn’t be willing to pay $17,000 for the privilege.
Our imperfections make us unique, and unless they are physically imposes, it’s probably best for your all-round mental health to learn to accept what Mother Nature gave you. Whilst plastic surgery has a place in society, it has caused many people to chase unrealistic body goals.
Twenty-seven-year-old Tanya Bird from Melbourne recently spoke out about how having a Brazilian butt lift has changed her life. Prior to getting a “Beyoncé Booty”, she simply was not happy with her body thanks to celebrity culture.
Unfortunately, Bird was in a car accident in 2013 which meant that she could not work out as intensively as she used to. So getting a Beyoncé-like derrière the natural way was never going to happen for the childcare worker.
“After the accident I couldn’t do heavy squats,” she said. “So this year I decided to reward myself with the bum I could have had if I hadn’t of had to go through all that,” she said. “Plus, genetically I wasn’t very gifted in that department.”
One of the things that people who get plastic surgery request is that the results appear natural. Whilst they are happy to get surgery, they do not want to look fake, and Bird said that her body’s natural shape complimented a large behind.
“It fits with the rest of my body shape,” she revealed. “And I have thickish-sort of legs so it fits really well.”
