Kids are adorable because they’re willing to believe just about anything you tell them. They’re hilariously naive, but by a certain age you might have expected them to have grown out of their youthful ignorance. In fact, you might have thought that by the age of 12, they would have a basic understanding of how babies are made.

However, Twitter user @KiranADavid was once a 12-year-old who had no idea how the birds and the bees worked. All he knew was that he was going to be a father, and when his mom found out she flew off the handle!

Before @KiranADavid begins his story, he gives us a very important disclaimer. He’s still fairly new to the states so there’s a lot of s**t he still doesn’t know.

Except, what you will soon find out is that his location is completely irrelevant to the story. No matter how much he tries to excuse his ignorance, it’s hilariously unforgivable.

All kids may be naive to a degree, but he had good reason as to why he was extra oblivious to basic facts of life.

Being foreign-born didn’t make Kiran an outcast in the slightest. In fact, it made him a hit with the ladies.

He certainly wasn’t lying when he says shawty was the BADDEST girl in 7th grade.

Against his better judgment, he ended up dating the girl. Something his 12-year-old self would come to regret…
