08 Sep Donald Trump Has Revealed That He Loves It When His Daughter Calls Him “Daddy”, And Twitter Is Crying

US President Donald Trump has made a host of exceptionally divisive statements since he started his presidential campaign in 2016. He made a number of comments which many have deemed offensive and unreasonable, and yet had somehow managed to become leader of the free world.

Trump has been President since January, and is still seen as someone who isn’t concerned about issues facing minority groups. As we all know, in July of this year, he announced his controversial plans to ban transgender people from joining the military, a decision that left people outraged.

It’s fair to say that Trump’s controversial comments disgust a lot of people, but it’s not only his political actions that have left people feeling just a little queasy.

Some of you may know that he has a history of making rather disturbing comments about his eldest daughter Ivanka, who also happens to be his adviser.

For instance, when he watched his then-16-year-old daughter host the 1997 Miss Teen USA pageant, he said the following to the 1997 Miss Universe winner: “Don’t you think my daughter’s hot? She’s hot, right?” I think we can all agree that for a father to say that about his child is, well, unconventional to say the least.

Then in a 2006 interview on The View, he made a remark which was arguably even more bizzare. When he was asked how he would feel if Ivanka posed for a Playboy shoot, Trump shamelessly replied, “I don’t think Ivanka would do that, although she does have a very nice figure. I’ve said if Ivanka weren’t my daughter, perhaps I’d be dating her.”

Now Trump has made another comment about his daughter that may have made people feel a little nauseous, but has also had thousands burst into fits of laughter.

On Wednesday, Trump was talking to a crowd at a tax reform event in North Dakota and insisted to the crowd that his daughter specifically asked to attend the event with her father.

“She said, ‘Dad, can I come with you?’,” Trump revealed. “Actually she said ‘Daddy, can I go with you?’ I like that. I said, ‘Yes, you can.”

Twitter users across the world found it both hilarious and nauseating that Donald Trump had confessed to “liking” the word, “daddy”. Trump’s cringeworthy words have spawned a whole host of tweets mocking the US president.
