14 Jun New Yorkers Take New Subway Law Banning All Dogs That ‘Can’t Fit in a Bag’ as a Challenge
New Yorkers weren’t happy when the Metropolitan Transportation Authority issued a new rule on taking animals on the subway. The MTA, which wasn’t particularly well-liked in the first place, made it so “no person may bring any animal on or into any conveyance or facility unless enclosed in a container and carried in a manner which would not annoy other passengers”.
Basically, however big your dog is, it has to go in your bag if you want to take it on public transport. While this doesn’t extend to guide dogs or any used by law enforcement agencies, there are plenty of pet owners out there that were stuck for what to do. That’s when people decided to take the new policy as a challenge.
1. I would be so happy to see this
2. Dog or fur coat?
3. Looks like this one’s found a snack
4. This puppy comes with a handle
5. That’s one way to do it
