US Soldier Is Stranded For Two Days At The Airport, Then A Complete Stranger Approaches Him And Does This…

If you’ve ever found yourself stranded at an airport, then you’ll understand how frustrating an experience it can be. After some unexpected snowfall, I once spent nine hours in an airport where there was no free WiFi, and I only had enough cash to buy myself some food as I patiently waited for my flight. It was the slowest nine hours of my life. There’s only so many times that one person can kill time by taking a particularly long route to the bathroom, or walking vacantly around a store half-heartedly inspecting crossword books.

After spending so long in an airport, you’d naturally start to feel dirty because you’ve not showered and angry at the other passengers who are catching their flights without a problem. Airports are places that people are supposed to pass through. They’re not designed for people to be in them for more than a few hours. But getting stranded for nine hours is nothing compared to getting stranded for two days. U.S. soldier Keaton Tilson had been desperately trying to get home for Memorial Day, but to no avail. Then fate intervened…

Have You Ever Been Stranded At An Airport?

Memorial Day is an important occasion for veterans and serving members of the forces alike. It’s a chance to come together to honor those who’ve sadly lost their lives in combat. The U.S. has the biggest military in the world, and, whilst it might be mighty, unfortunately, countless people have paid the ultimate price whilst in service. Usually, our brave servicemen and women come together with their families to remember those who’ve died in combat and to remind themselves exactly who they’re risking their lives for while out there. All Keaton wanted in the world was go home to his mom and siblings, but would he ever actually be able to?
