Promising GOT Theory Blows The Lid On Why Arya Really Gave Sansa The Catspaw Dagger

There are a lot of troublemakers in the Seven Kingdoms. However, none have consistently caused as many problems for the Starks as Littlefinger. He has manipulated and betrayed the family to further his ambition to sit on the Iron Throne, but since the Battle of the Bastards, he has been pretty redundant as a character.

The surviving Stark children have been through a lot, and they have all learned countless skills in the process. Sansa’s been married off, raped and humiliated, but gained a lot of political knowledge in the process, and Arya’s gone through Brutal training to become a Faceless Man. Whereas Bran’s now the Three-Eyed Raven.

Therefore, from a narrative point of view, why does Littlefinger still seem to be pulling the strings of their family? The Stark children are not puppets, they are people who have proven their strength, and it only makes sense that they would be able to defeat him. He’s a parasite in Winterfell and needs to go.

So far on season seven, Littlefinger’s manipulation shows no sign of letting up. Sansa and Ayra do not see eye to eye, and he is using this to meet his own ends. However, fans of the show have begun speculating about his inevitable demise and how the Starks will come together to instigate it.
