14 Aug BREAKING: Girl Dies After Car Smashes Into Pizzeria Just Outside Paris

An eight-year-old girl has been killed and at least six others injured after a car smashed into a pizza restaurant in Seine-et-Marne just outside Paris.

The driver was arrested at the scene. The driver was allegedly suicidal and had weapons in the car. It’s unclear what the motive was, but the attack is not currently being treated as related to terrorism.

Last week, a group of French soldiers were ran over in a deliberate attack, and over one year ago in Nice, France, 86 people were killed in a truck attack. The rise of the usage of cars in anti-human attacks is a troubling marker of the 21st century.
