Now, I don’t know about you, but whenever I’m feeling a little down and out, I tend to turn to the hit US adaption of The Office. Not only is it gut achingly hilarious, but the mockumentary sitcom revolutionised television as we watch it today.

Whilst shows such as Game of Thrones and House of Cards are incredibly entertaining, the lifestyles of the characters within it are so far removed from what the everyman experiences on a day-t0-day basis. What makes The Office so special in comparison is that it made the average office-goer, that is, people like you and me, the main focus.

Certainly, fans of the hit series spent nine years chuckling at Dwight’s antics, Jim’s pranks and Michael’s outrageous statements.
