President Trump has endured a torrid, turbulent opening salvo in the White House. As the former businessman embarks on a “vacation” while tensions on the Korean peninsula continue to escalate, it is astonishing to recall all of the mishaps, blunders and rumoured in-fighting that Donald Trump has overseen since assuming the office of the Presidency.

Seemingly without pausing for breath after moving into the White House, Trump signed an executive order on a polarising travel ban that caused chaos and confusion at airports all over the United States. Since then, the President and his team have lurched from scandal to mishap with alacrity, decrying so-called “fake news” in the mainstream media while simultaneously making blunders like Kellyanne Conway’s bizarre reference to a “Bowling Green massacre” that had not, in fact, happened.

More recently, a tweet from President Trump that abruptly announced that those in the transgender community would no longer be allowed to serve in the military has been met with widespread outrage, even supposedly prompting previous high-profile advocate Caitlyn Jenner to renounce her support for the administration.

Perhaps that is why everyone was a little confused to see that Jenner was still donning the red “Make America Great Again” cap that has become synonymous with Trump fans.
