03 Aug Floyd Mayweather Finally Reveals How Much He’ll Earn From McGregor Fight

You know what they should’ve done for this fight? they should’ve made an advent calendar. Imagine it, every day in the 25 days building up to this mammoth showdown, you get to open a different window and with it, a different bit of controversy happens.

This is pretty much what is happening right now, but without my brilliant marketing plan.

Everyday it seems like there is new layer to the build up to this fight, and today is no different. We’ve now got 23 days till Floyd “Money” Mayweather enters the ring with Conor “The Notorious” McGregor and today we’ve been given another bit of information of how much money these guys will be making to wet our appetites/annoy us.

I guess if you literally call yourself “money” you should really have the funds to back that up, and there can be no doubt that Mayweather does.

The amount of money that both guys will be taking home has purely been based on rumours, with most people believing they will take around $100m each from the fight.  However, in an interview with Showtime, Mayweather dispelled this rumour and gave a more accurate figure of what he will be taking home; and it’s safe to say that is an eye-watering amount of money.
