If you came of age in the Noughties, you’ll be familiar with the seminal television programme, Scrubs.

The American medical comedy-drama aired from 2001 to 2010, and during that time amassed a dedicated legion of fans who all became unhealthily invested in the show’s adorable character relationships and medical-related conundrums. In nine years and nine seasons, we saw protagonist John “JD” Dorian, portrayed by Zach Braff, ascend from medical intern to doctor, alongside his crew of hilarious friends at the fictional Sacred Heart teaching hospital.

The show’s quirky premise was fully realised by its talented cast which, alongside Zach Braff included Donald Faison, Sarah Chalke and Neil Flynn. It’s impressive array of celebrity guests also ensured that we were entertained for hours to come – Michael J. Fox, Ryan Reynolds and Colin Farrell all made appearances on the show.

If like me, you’ve been missing J.D’s hilarious voice-overs for the past seven years now, you can rest easy, as Braff has hinted that the old gang may be hitting the small screen again…
