21 Jul Game Of Thrones Producers Confirm New Wartime Series Is In Production

Last weekend, one of the cultural phenomena of the century kicked off its penultimate season, and I’m not sure if I’m going to be okay. Game of Thrones has captured many hearts and shocked many more in its six-year-run so far, and amidst all the dragons, political scheming and wanton, gratuitous murder, the television landscape won’t be the same after the final episode, which is expected to air sometime in 2019.

Although I’m going to miss Game of Thrones after it eventually signs off, I guess that all good things come to an end as certainly as all men must die, but that doesn’t mean we’ve seen the last of David Benioff and D B Weiss, the showrunners of the critically-acclaimed show. HBO have just announced that a new show from Weiss and Benioff is now in progress, and it sounds totally and utterly bonkers.
