18 Jul Couple Who Lost Two Sons In Devastating Car Crash Give Birth To Twins

At times we get a taste of what it feels like to be truly joyous. One moment you can feel happy with your career, grateful that you’re surrounded by loving family, as well as content with yourself and the place that you occupy within the world. However, the next instant could see everything fall apart with one click of fate’s arbitrary fingers. In many cases that means that we face financial strife or get laid off from our job, and whilst those are certainly difficult situations, they cannot compare to the tragedy that one couple from the state of North Carolina endured two years ago when they lost two young sons in a car crash.

In May 2015, Gentry and Hadley Eddings, both 28, were driving in Wilmington when they were rear-ended by a truck driver. Whilst the couple were unharmed, they lost their two-year-old son Dobbs in the crash. Hadley was also eight months pregnant at the time and despite doctors conducting an emergency C-section, the child, named Reed, passed away only two days later.

The couple made a rather joyous announcement on Monday, however, when they revealed that they had given birth to twin boys who they named in honour of their two eldest sons.
