Heartbreaking Footage Shows Minneapolis Cop Shooting Two Submissive Dogs

A heartbreaking surveillance video appears to show a Minneapolis police officer shooting two submissive service dogs after breaking into the owner’s fenced-in backyard.

An investigation is underway after north Minneapolis resident, Jennifer LeMay, posted the shocking footage to Facebook on Sunday, claiming that her two pit bulls were undoubtedly not aggressive towards the officer.

However, according to Minneapolis news outlet, KARE 11, the police report states that the “two large size pitbulls charged at officer” before he fired at them.

In spite of this, LeMay’s video, posted on Facebook and watched almost 300,000 times, has spurred anger from viewers who claim that the service dogs, both of which survived, were clearly not charging or attacking when they were shot.

Warning: The video may be distressing for some viewers.
