Ah, the seaside. What a strange, strange place. The seaside in the UK mainly consists of fish and chips, candy floss, and brown water that you don’t really want to go in. Our seaside towns are sort of stuck in this weird time warp, where everything is still a little bit backwards and strange.

Seaside towns are usually packed full of tattoo parlours and strange crystal “healing” shops, and most of the residents look like their skin has somehow turned into leather. A holiday to the seaside usually consists of playing in the arcade, going in the sea in a wetsuit (as it is so cold) and bodyboarding. However, the seaside elsewhere always looks magnificent.

Every year, thousands of Brits head off on holiday for somewhere that has crystal clear water and white sand beaches; whilst most of us simply hop on a two-hour flight to Spain or Portugal, many of us dream of visiting a place like the Bahamas. The Bahamas and the surrounding areas look and sound like a dream, the people seem friendly, the food looks incredible; but most importantly, the islands are clad in sunshine.

So when a video emerged of the water that can be found on the beaches of the islands, users of the internet lost their collective minds. The video shows just how clear the water in the Bahamas is and gave everyone a strong sense of wanderlust.
