Will Ferrell Teases Fans With The Hope Of A ‘Step Brothers’ Sequel

Although Will Ferrell went onto Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen to get fans excited for his new movie, The House, he ended up getting them even more excited for something else. During the segment of the show where fans call in and ask questions, a man named Josh from Springfield, Illinois brought up the topic of sequels.

“Are we ever going to get sequels to Elf or Night at the Roxbury?” Josh asked. Ferrell started, “I’ve got great news for you…”, but as the crowd slowly began to rumble in cheers, Ferrell came back in with a harsh, “no.” It was the biggest tease ever, and at that point in the show, fans were still recovering from their crushed hope that they would get to see Buddy the Elf or Steve Butabi one more time.

Luckily Andy Cohen, ever the pryer, decided to roll with the topic of sequels, asking Ferrell: “Is there a film of yours that, in your fantasy, you would love to revisit?” Ferrell responded with a facetious, “I’d love to see a sequel of Kramer vs. Kramer… oh a movie that I was in?”

Come on, man. Give us something here.
