Twitter Keeps Comparing John Legend To People’s Babies And Chrissy Teigen Is Not Impressed

Have you ever taken a look at John Legend and thought he reminded you of someone?

A person, let’s say, who hasn’t exactly soared to the heights of a Grammy Award-winning career, but is working on the whole crawling across the floor thing. Who isn’t married to a supermodel, but thinks that drooling little girl in his playgroup is super cute. Who probably can’t hold a tune as well as him, but loves a well-tuned lullaby before naptime.

I am, of course, talking about babies. In case you hadn’t heard the news, it is a well-acknowledged fact on Twitter by now that John Legend looks exactly like an ‘ickle bundle of joy. It all started when Twitter user @MrMenziN shared a picture of a little boy who bears a striking resemblance to the singer, writing: “Explain fam @johnlegend” underneath. After gaining 18,000 retweets, the seemingly outrageous, but all the same completely feasible, theory went viral.

But were we all imagining it? Or did John actually look like someone who hadn’t learned how to use a spoon by themselves yet? We were all proved right when the bizarre hypothesis was confirmed by no other than the Beauty and the Beast crooner himself who wrote back saying: “Exactly”.

However, ever since the internet had this epiphany, they haven’t been able to let it go, with adorable little people who bear an uncanny likeness to the All Of Me singer popping up on our newsfeeds on a daily basis. Who can blame them really? Any featured baby is completely precious and makes our time on social media feel more worth it somehow.

But there is one person who is not so thrilled with the influx of Little Johns. And that is no other than John’s wife of almost four years, Chrissy Teigen, who took to Twitter this week to make her feelings crystal clear about the whole situation.
