22 May Guy Gets the Perfect Revenge on People Who Were Rude to a Waiter

I have a lot of respect for people who work in the hospitality and service industry. They usually have to deal with a wide range of customers who may or may not be in the best moods, and they have to do it with a smile because the customer is apparently always right. Granted, I have received some poor service in my time, but I would say the excellent service I have experienced far outweighs the bad. Some people recognize how hard the great professionals in this field work, and usually reward them in form of good tips. This man went a step further, by adding a cash gift to his tip which completely transformed his waiter’s day.

Not only did he acknowledge this hardworking young man, he inadvertently helped him pay off his car bill. Now, that’s a special customer. It’s unlikely that we’re all going to start running around paying off waiters’ debts, but the least we could do is treat these workers with respect. There aren’t many things which aggravate me more than people being rude to waiters. It feels like an unnecessary power play, and leads me to wonder how insecure you have to be to be horrible to someone who’s job it already is to serve you.

One Twitter user, some people were doing exactly this in a coffee shop, and he decided to take action. Apparently, Khalil Sehnaoui appears to share my pet peeve. The 41 year old Information Security consultant was out enjoying a coffee when he noticed that the people sat near him were treating the waiter horribly.
