Wouldn’t it be cool to be a shapeshifter? To have the chameleonic ability to change your appearance, to resemble a host of your favourite celebrities, or even make yourself look like some of the most colourful characters in fiction? Well for some people, that actually is their job. If you’re a professional cosplayer then you’re expected to be able to look like anyone, anytime. But this latest cosplayer is probably the best example I’ve ever clapped eyes on.

Since Alyson Tabbitha was an infant, her mom, a professional character performer, would spend hours designing hyper-realistic Halloween costumes. This inspired her to become a professional cosplayer way back in 2014, and ever since then her costumes have stunned convention-goers around the world. Alyson has an incredible ability to disguise herself; after she’s donned her custom-made outfits and applied makeup and prosthetics, she looks downright unrecognisable.
