04 Jul North Korea Has Successfully Tested an Intercontinental Ballistic Missile, According to State Media
North Korea’s history of hostile relationships with outside powers has been well documented. It appears to be something that the secluded nation has no plans to change as reports continue to emerge that North Korea is investing a huge amount of time, money and effort into developing sophisticated long-range missiles to raise their international standing.
North Korea’s missile programme has come a long way since the days of WWII. Over the last few decades, they have successfully developed medium-range missiles that are capable of striking targets as far away as the Pacific Ocean. They continue to increase the frequency of their missile tests, unanimously raising tensions across the globe.
Recently, North Korea has turned its attention to building advanced long-range missiles which have the potential to reach the United States mainland. This would be an open provocation as the only reason to invest in making such a missile would be to launch nuclear weapons. Now, North Korea have announced that they have successfully tested a long-range “intercontinental” missile.
