26 Jun This Man Visited Disneyland 2,000 Days in a Row
If you’re mad about theme parks, then there’s one destination out there that’s the equivalent of Mecca, and that’s Disneyland. As kids, we all dreamed about our parents getting us tickets to visit the magic kingdom, so we could stride through those hallowed gates and have the times of our lives on Space Mountain, Pirates of the Caribbean, Frontierland, and a myriad of other delights.
Unfortunately, for many people, that dream simply never came true – particularly when the tickets were so damn expensive. If your folks simply couldn’t make enough to finance a trip, you were more likely to stick to cheap fairground rides, and forever miss out of the thrills and excitement of Uncle Walt’s home.
On the other hand, there are people who seem to go to the resorts habitually, almost as casually as you or I would pop to Walmart or a 7-Eleven. I mean, I know that it’s supposedly the happiest place on Earth, but some guys just can’t seem to stay away from it. It’s like they’re there every other week!
But even your most devoted Disney freak would probably draw the line at visiting the park day after day and after day, for several consecutive years. Yet that’s exactly what one veteran fanboy has accomplished this week, after he was commemorated by the Disney corporation when he enjoyed his 2000th visit to Disneyland. Don’t mind me: I’m just busy being sick with jealousy over here.
