Anthony Bourdain’s Wife Shared Photo Of Their “Strong And Beautiful” Daughter

In the wake of the death of chef Anthony Bourdain, who took his own life in a French hotel last week, tributes have poured out from across the world.

Fans and friends alike have praised the American’s talent, his sense of adventure, and storytelling ability. Others, such as New York Time food critic Pete Wells, also paid testament to his determination to expose the un-glamorous side of the restaurant industry, which too often features raging tempers, low wages and the exploitation of immigrant workers.

Having spent his early career working at restaurants in New York City, Anthony Bourdain moved on to become a TV chef and critic in the early 200os, going on to become the star of CNN’s Parts Unknown in which he showcased cuisines from countries including Ethiopia, Japan, Armenia, and Vietnam.

It’s clear that Bourdain managed to connect foods and audiences around the world, and viewers loved him for it.

But as much as fans of his work may be devastated at the loss of their idol, no one can finding this time harder than those who loved him most.

In addition to his current girlfriend, Asia Argento, Anthony left behind an 11-year-old daughter, Ariane, and an wife from whom he was separated, Ottavia Busia Bourdain.

Anthony and Ottavia, a mixed-martial artist, married in 2007, just 11 days after the birth of their daughter. Although they split in 2016, an event Bourdain blamed on his hectic work schedule, they are believed to have remained close as a family and their divorce had not yet been finalized.
