When it comes to hair, I think we’re all a little envious of the Disney Princesses. Whether it’s Ariel’s red mermaid tresses or Jasmine’s luscious locks, most people would make a deal with an evil villain for just a bit of fairytale magic to look that good 24/7.

However, one person in India may already be living the dream. He’s not a Disney character and he’s certainly not a Princess, but he just may be the closest we’ve got to a real-life Rapunzel.

Meet Savjibhai Rathwa, who lives in India, a man who hasn’t cut his hair in over 50 years!

The 65-year-old’s tresses now measure a whopping 62 feet in length! What’s even more impressive is the reason behind why he hasn’t had a haircut in over five decades.

Savjibhai claims a Hindu god came to him in a dream and told him not to. That sounds like a pretty great plot for a new Disney movie to me!

“I was 12 when I got the swapnadosh (direction in a dream) from Lord Shiva that I should never cut my hair. It is since then I have been growing my hair,” Rathwa explained. “Everybody — including family and friends — have been cool with my ever-growing hair.”
