04 May Melania Trump Finally Speaks Out About Stormy Daniels Affair Rumors

Donald Trump’s presidency – and quite possibly his marriage – has suffered a huge blow because of his alleged affair with Stormy Daniels. After news of his tryst with the adult movie star became known in January, further scandalous details have slowly but surely emerged.

Fascination with Trump’s mistress reached fever pitch this week when Daniels finally confirmed that the affair happened in an interview with 60 Minutes, backtracking on her initial denial of the claims, and revealing a number of shocking details about their romp in 2006.

Now, the First Lady has spoken out about the allegations and the video below provides a full report on them:

Trump met Daniels at a golf tournament in Lake Tahoe in 2006, shortly after the birth of his youngest son Baron. According to the adult movie star, they had a steamy romp, which saw her spank the now president with a magazine with him and his children on the front cover.

During the alleged affair, Trump also compared Daniels, now 39, to his daughter Ivanka.

“He was like, ‘Wow, you… you are special. You remind me of my daughter.’ You know – he was like, ‘You’re smart and beautiful, and a woman to be reckoned with, and I like you. I like you,’” Daniels revealed.

When the story first broke in January, the First Lady was reportedly furious about the claims, according to the New York Post. Sources who claim to be close to the president and his wife said that she was completely “blindsided” by the reports.

However, it was not until yesterday that she officially decided to comment on them – during Daniels’ explosive 60 Minutes interview.

While news of the affair was scandalous enough, what added more weight to Daniels’ claims was the fact that Trump’s lawyer, Michael Cohen, had paid her $130,000 October 2016 – a sum of money which he has since claimed was not from the president, but himself.

Although, admittedly, it’s hard to imagine why Cohen would choose to pay Daniels’ this amount of money for any reason other than to buy her silence. Daniels’ has now offered to pay this money back, having broken the non-disclosure agreement that accompanied it.

Aside from opening up about all the sordid details of her affair with the president, including the fact that he made her watch a documentary about sharks, Daniels revealed in her 60 Minutes interview that the president informed her that he and Melania slept in separate bedrooms.

This could have been the straw which broke the camels back as it prompted Melania’s director of communications, Stephanie Grisham, to tweet the following response on behalf of the First Lady during the interview.

“While I know the media is enjoying speculation and salacious gossip, I’d like to remind people there’s a minor child who’s name should be kept out of news stories when at all possible [sic],” Grisham wrote.

This tweet is a reference to Melania’s son, Baron, who was just a few months old at the time of the affair which allegedly took place in July 2016.

Grisham’s tweet echoed the sentiments of many people on social media who made a point of saying that both Trump’s 12-year-old son and Daniels’ seven-year-old daughter should not be mentioned when it comes to the media’s reporting of the affair.

Despite the fact that Melania herself has openly responded to the interview, the president has not – something which is particularly interesting given his reputation for mercilessly tweeting about his enemies.

The only response he appears to have given to the interview came in the form of a tweet which said that there was a particularly large amount of “Fake News” around at the moment.

While Trump’s belief that Daniels’ allegations are nothing more than fake news might well be true, she is not the only woman who has come forward to claim that she had an affair with the Commander-in-Chief.

Former Playmate of the Year, Karen McDougal, confirmed that she had an affair with the president this month too – although it was first reported on in November 2017, she was unable to speak out because of a non-disclosure agreement.

Unlike Daniels’, McDougal’s affair with the president was not a one-off tryst. She reportedly had a relationship with him for 10 months between 2006 and 2007. After admitting it was true, she made a point of apologizing for Melania for the liaison.

Aside from the fact that these affairs both took place around the same time, their credibility has been increased by the fact that they bear a number of other striking similarities to each other, as Trump also compared McDougal to his daughter Ivanka.

“You know, he, he’s very proud of Ivanka, as he should be. I mean, she’s a brilliant woman,” McDougal said. “She’s beautiful. She’s – you know, that’s his daughter, and he should be proud of her. He said I was beautiful like her and, you know, ‘you’re a smart girl.’ And there wasn’t a lot of comparing, but there was some, yes. I heard a lot about her. Yes.”

Trump also said to McDougal during their affair that he was not currently sleeping in the same room as Melania – who was presumably too busy caring for their infant son to satisfy him sexually.

In addition to this, McDougal’s non-disclosure agreement was signed in August 2016 prior to Trump’s election. It was also for a six-figure sum, and like Daniels, she has chosen to openly defy its terms.

One thing’s for sure – I’m glad I’m not Melania Trump right now.
