That’s exactly what happened to 27-year-old Stephanie Murray. She was working at a friend’s cafe in Canberra on what she thought was an ordinary Sunday when she was told she bore a striking resemblance to none other than Meghan Markle.

And it wasn’t just anyone who told her that she was spitting image of the soon-to-be duchess, but rather a journalist from the Canberra Times. As a result, she has since received international attention including phone calls from numerous media outlets.

“The story has completely blown up, it’s gone viral which I wasn’t expecting,” she told the Daily Mail.

“I have people calling me from across the country and I now have representation.”

And that certainly isn’t the extent of it – she has also been contacted by television networks asking her to take part in live interviews and even in reality TV shows.
