Meredith had been six weeks pregnant when she, and her husband Brandon, were told by doctors that they’d suffered a miscarriage. The 25-year-old mother-to-be was left understandably heartbroken by the catastrophic loss, but if she thought that her trauma ended there, she was mistaken.

Seven months later, Meredith began to experience peculiar pains and severe stomach cramps. Brandon was by her side as she writhed in agony in their bedroom. Then the unthinkable happened…

The couple were left completely dumbfounded when Meredith gave birth shortly after her pain began. But it wasn’t a conventional delivery, for Meredith didn’t birth to the baby she’d spent seven months mourning in the usual way.

Instead, the baby was born inside the amniotic sac, meaning that Meredith’s waters never even broke. This then caused the couple their next serious problem, for the baby was soon to lose oxygen if they didn’t act quickly.

Thankfully, Brandon acted quickly by calling 911. However, as he did so something miraculously happened to the oozing sac that lay at his feet.

Meredith, who’d become severely depressed after learning she’d had a miscarriage, was overwhelmed by the shocking situation.

The mom-to-be had spent the past seven months drinking, smoking and eating unhealthy foods as she tried to come to terms with the unexpected loss of her first child, and now she was about to meet the baby that she’d spend nearly an entire year mourning.

Luckily, the situation was saved by Mother Nature who came in to intervene with the one-in-a-million birth. Then, medical professionals came to the rescue. Together they managed to deliver Meredith’s ‘lost’ baby.
