20 Apr Brie Bella Has Spoken Out Following Twin Nikki And John Cena’s Split

The breakup of a long-term relationship is never easy. When you acquire a partner, you invest a lot of time and energy into trying to make your relationship work, but unfortunately, even after you’ve agreed to get married, the relationship can fall apart.

That was the case for WWE’s Nikki Bella and John Cena who announced their separation at the weekend, ending a six-year relationship and their engagement. The pair were due to get married three weeks from now in Mexico after John proposed at Wrestlemania last year.

Sadly, the reported reason for John and Nikki’s breakup was something which he had been honest with her about from the outset: he did not want children.

Having previously been married to Elizabeth Huberdeau for three years, he also told Nikki that he had no intention of remarrying. While he eventually changed his mind about this, his opinion on having children did not change because he wanted to focus entirely on his career.

A source anonymously told People of the split: “They have had an on and off relationship for years. It’s no secret that they didn’t see eye to eye on a lot of things, but, when you’re in love, you turn a blind eye. And that’s what Nikki did.”
