19 Apr Texas Cop Narrowly Escapes Death At Crime Scene Thanks To Divine Intervention

It’s easy to think that cops don’t really do anything other than sit in their patrol cars and eat donuts. But in reality, they are laying down their lives for our safety and protection on a daily basis.

If you find that hard to believe, then this shocking footage from the scene of a crime in Fort Worth, Texas, will leave you in no doubt that cops really are putting themselves at risk for us every day.

Police Officer Travis Hiser was attending the scene of a road traffic accident in which an out of control vehicle had collided with a house on April 7.

The dash cam in his patrol car captures the moment he steps from the vehicle and heads towards the crash spot, oblivious to the perils that await. With gas leaking from the house as a result of the crash, Tiser is in serious danger. But by some miracle, he escaped any serious injury.

“There was definitely some divine intervention that was reaching down and slowing those vehicles down from making scene and then taking a finger and pushing me away from the house and the path that I went,” a shell-shocked Tiser told KXAS News. “Otherwise, I would have been up on the wall and it would have exploded completely into my face.”

A family of three who were inside the building were rushed to hospital where they currently remain, one in critical condition, according to The Dallas Morning News. However, all are expected to recover.

Meanwhile, the driver of the stricken vehicle, Alejandro Enriquez-Castro, escaped unharmed, but the 35-year-old was arrested at the scene for not having a valid driver’s license.

The Dallas Morning News also reports that he was held on an immigration matter and turned over to US Immigration and Custom Enforcement agents.

There is no doubt that Tiser is lucky to have escaped with only minor injuries. He must feel very lucky to have lived to tell the tale.
