While one-off acts of prostitution aren’t for everyone, those who have chosen to sell their cherries are generously reimbursed financially and plan to use this money to improve their lives long into the future, which isn’t the worst idea in the world if you’re willing to do it.

After posting an ad for her virginity on the notorious Cinderella Escorts website, which specializes in selling off women’s virginities, Jasmin received a number of substantial offers, and the winning bidder turned out to be from a Hollywood actor.

The anonymous actor coughed up a whopping $1,488,106 (£1,046,216) for Jasmin’s virginity, beating a Munich-based businessman and a Manchester United football player, who also bid in the auction which began last year.

Now Jasmin, who is from London, and the actor have met for dinner, and the big day is scheduled for some time in April at a hotel in Germany.

While there are a lot of big-name Hollywood actors out there, Jasmin made a point of revealing that the man who bought her virginity is someone she is a “fan” of and has opened up to the Mail Online about the experience of auctioning off her virginity.

“My parents supported me from the beginning. They know everything and agree,” she said. “I am 26, and they know that I am adult enough for deciding alone what I do with my body.”

“As I met the actor already, and I was always a big fan of [his], I am more nervous as a fan than about losing my virginity,” she revealed. “But who knows. Maybe I will get more nervous when we meet in the hotel.”

If the man in question wants a second opinion, Cinderella Escorts also allows the buyers to bring a doctor along to the deflowering to confirm that their chosen virgin’s virginity is still intact.

Historically, female virginity has long been revered, and while this notion is now outdated for the vast majority of people, a sexologist has explained why some men are willing to pay so much to be a woman’s first.

In an interview with UNILAD, sexologist Dr. Nikki Goldstein said, “It’s actually quite a backward idea because the value of virginity comes from the idea that a virgin is pure and innocent.”

“Which is damaging to our beliefs about sexuality as those who do have sex should not be seen as dirty or guilty. For some men, it’s the ego of being the first to be sexual with that woman and a sense of ownership of her virginity.”

“Does the women become damaged goods? If she is only with the guy for one night does she then develop guilt in other relationships due to not being a virgin anymore? Or does this idea carry on, swapping sex for things and money instead of owning her sexuality?”

While selling your virginity definitely isn’t for everyone, if Jasmin’s interviews are anything to go by, she’s happy with her decision, and, at the age of 26, it’s safe to say that she’s more than mature enough to decide what she wants to do with her body.
