For many years of my life, I have been pretty happy with my hair.

When I was 13 years old, I let my short hair grow into an afro, and since then, I’ve had many happy years of shenanigans. I found it made for a great conversation starter, I could hide all kinds of pencils and coins in there, and it’s apparently very nice to pat. From time to time, though, I like to start afresh with a new set of locks and cut my hair down low, but every time I do so, I always end up kind of regretting it.

In my opinion, finding a barber you like is harder than finding a man or woman with which to spend the rest of your life. Not only is it recommended to have a connection with the man or woman cutting your hair, they also have to do a good job of cutting it in a way that suits you.
