16 Jan 20-Year-Old Man Wins $451 Million From A 7-Eleven Lottery Ticket
Although we know that having a lot of money won’t necessarily make us happy, it can certainly help to know you have a secure future and that you’ll never be in financial difficulties for as long as you live.
Wealth is something that most of us aspire to have, but few of us will ever achieve.
But Shane Missler, a 20-year-old man from Florida, has done something that most of us will only ever dream of doing. And it has a little something to do with the $451 million currently sitting in his bank account.
He won the huge sum of money on the Mega Millions lottery jackpot last Friday and has now vowed to do “good for humanity”.
Just minutes after finding out he had won his fortune, he updated his Facebook status writing “Oh. My. God”. Soon enough the post was flooded with thousands of likes and comments.
Before becoming a multi-millionaire, Missler was working at a company which carries out employment background checks.
But one decision to buy a scratch card from a 7-Eleven store changed his financial position beyond belief and he immediately resigned from the position.
Missler is perfectly aware that because he is so young, people expect him to spend his winnings recklessly.
“I’m only 20, but I hope to use it to pursue a variety of passions, help my family and do some good for humanity,” Missler revealed in a statement.
