27 Apr 19-Year-Old Frantically Calls Mom While Being Attacked By Brown Bear And Its Three Cubs

Death might be an inevitable part of life, but it’s something few of us like to think about. Most people go through life hoping that their mortal coil will come to an end when they’re a ripe old age and warm in their bed – the exact opposite of what happened to Olga Moskalyova.

The 19-year-old mom met her fate in the most horrific way imaginable when she was eaten alive by a brown bear and its three cubs while fishing in Petropavlovsk Kamchatskiy, Siberia. Knowing that her life was about to end, she called her mother as she was being torn apart.

As if receiving a call from your young daughter while she was being killed wasn’t bad enough already, unbeknownst to Tatiana, the bears had already killed her husband Igor Tsyganenkov – Olga’s stepfather – by breaking his neck and smashing his skull.

Tatiana tried to save her daughter’s life by calling authorities and relatives to the area she knew the pair were fishing in, but it was to no avail.

The two had reportedly returned to the river to collect a fishing rod which Igor had left behind. It was then that the attack took place.

As the bears killed her stepfather, Olga fled for 70 yards before the mother bear grabbed her leg.

When help finally arrived, they were met with a gruesome sight. Igor’s brother Andrei discovered the mother bear devouring Igor’s body and Olga badly mauled.

To prevent a similar tragedy happening again, hunters were sent in by the emergency services to destroy the animals.
