Personally, I don’t trust anyone who doesn’t love Barack Obama.

Aside from being the first black President of the United States, Barack Obama’s stay in the White House was dignified and largely successful. Committed to upholding the tenants of democracy, his triumphs ranged from implementing universal health insurance under Obama Care, ending the war in Iraq and passing some much-needed Wall Street reform.

Now that’s all well and good, but Barack Obama also has to take the title of being the most loveable US president ever. In all his interactions with the press, Barack Obama came across as being a man of respect devoted to protecting progressive family values. Certainly, he always stood out as being a great husband and father to his two daughters, Sasha and Malia. And his wife, Michelle Obama was notable in her own right. She proved to be an excellent role model for young women everywhere with her commitment to her career and general fierceness.

I miss the days when I would see Barack Obama regularly on my screen, but from the look of recent pictures, it appears that he is definitely getting the post-presidency vacation that he deserves. Let’s take a look at what he’s been up to…

1. He’s spent a lot of time kicking back on the golf course

2. He took a trip to the US Virgin Islands with Michelle and chilled with his bud, Richard Branson 

3. He even went kitesurfing on Branson’s island! 

4. Michelle revealed on her Instagram that they spent Valentine’s day on the beach 

5. He took Malia out to dinner in New York and everyone loved it
