12 Things Women Think Before Having Sex With A New Partner

What do women want? That is the question that everyone wants to know the answer to, including women themselves. However, when it comes to having sex with a new partner for the first time, all women are united on their thoughts.

Trying to read a woman’s mind is an impossible task (unless you’re Mel Gibson in What Women Want). However, when a woman starts to become intimate with a new partner for the first time, that’s when they’re at their most confusing.

So men, instead of filling your brain with concerns before you seal the deal, remember that this is what will likely be racing through her head and then relax (or panic even more)…

1. “Right. It’s been a while, how do I do this?!”

After a prolonged dry spell, it can be hard to remember how to get the wheels back in motion. It’s most likely that your girl can relate better to Madonna’s ‘Like A Virgin’, than Tina Turner’s ‘Proud Mary’ – those wheels never just keep on turnin’.

So when you give her the come-to-bed eyes and she looks hesitant, it’s likely that she is trying to remember how to make one plus one equal two in the world of sex. Or, she really just doesn’t want to sleep with you. In both cases, wait for her amber light to turn green before you proceed.

If she likes you, she’ll launch into it and make it up as she goes along. Although, you probably won’t notice anyway, because unless you’re Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie in Mr & Mrs Smith, your first time with a new girl will be full of fumbles.

2. “How am I going to tell him I’m on my period?”

Periods have been happening since the very first woman roamed this planet for millennia. Despite that, the topic is still extremely taboo, especially in a new relationship. The first time your new girl rides the crimson waves can be an uncomfortable time for both parties.

For example, you are feeling extremely romantic (read: horny) and your girl is looking sensational. You haven’t even noticed that hormonal pimple on her chin, and her mood swings have been hidden because she doesn’t really feel comfortable to go full ogre in front of you yet.

So you try it on, only to learn after a few minutes of passionate kissing that she is in no fit state to operate. A few uncomfortable minutes pass in which you both apologize profusely to one for something neither of you are responsible for.

A few months in to the relationship, you have already learned to use a big red pen to block that week out in your calendar as a ‘Do Not Disturb’ time.
